Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret detailed shop drawings
Deliver precise, high-quality joinery work
Work with laminates, solid timber, and veneers
Skilled in curved and detailed counter work
Set up and operate woodworking machinery
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
Work independently and manage time effectively
Requirements:
Certificate III in Cabinet Making or Joinery (required)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in detailed joinery
Proficiency in laminating, solid timber, and veneer work
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Own tools
White card (construction induction)
Current driver’s licence and reliable private transport
Punctual, reliable, and a strong communicator
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

DUTIES
Providing detailed budget estimate preparation/ quotes for joinery, which would include interior fit-out, loose furniture, etc for mainly high-end commercial and residential projects.
Working alongside our team, navigating design challenges and their effect on cost.
Assisting in the production process by ordering materials and providing material procurement sheets to related parties
Liaising with drafters, factory and clients and attending site surveys when required.
Building relationships with key vendors (designers, builders, suppliers, sub-trades, etc.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar field
Have a solid understanding and knowledge of joinery fabrication methods and material processes
Be comfortable working in a technical environment.
Be an articulate communicator and have an inquiring mind.
Being able to understand technical drawings is essential
Be organised and conscientious with a high level of quality control and attention to detail.
Have a strong market knowledge of materials, suppliers and subcontractors.
Be able to conduct research to obtain data on, materials, production times etc. Use our in-house software for data analysis and budgeting.
Have good excel skills
